The challenge
FL Architectes et Associés has been designing villas, apartment buildings and conversions across the canton of Vaud since 1997, from its offices in Bussigny and Lausanne.
In this line of work, the website is a portfolio first and a shop window second: the projects are what make people get in touch. The old site did not do them justice, with cramped visuals and navigation that gave little reason to browse. The firm needed a site that shows architecture at full scale, stays fast despite heavy images, and meets the visual standards expected of an architecture practice.
The solution
This project was delivered with Immosprint, my real estate specialist partner.
We combined their visual direction and project management with my technical build: a WordPress theme coded entirely from scratch, with no page builder, to keep full control over performance and rendering. Projects are shown full width, with transitions and scroll animations that give the page rhythm without slowing it down. Images are optimised and load progressively, so the site stays fast on mobile and desktop alike. The firm adds new projects itself from a back office designed for exactly that.
